In February 2025, I completed the mural intervention in two key spaces within Instituto Bet El: the gymnasium in the basement and the one on the top floor of the building. Both spaces play a central role in school life, and my goal was to transform their energy through color and form.
The basement gymnasium, with its enclosed nature and dim lighting, was turned into an immersive space through an abstract composition covering both the floor and all four walls. I worked with a palette of ten colors to create rhythm and movement, integrating the regulatory lines of the soccer and basketball courts into the design—respecting their functionality while reinterpreting them visually.
The gymnasium on the top floor follows the same visual and chromatic approach but interacts with its architecture in a different way. In this open space, with high ceilings, large windows, and a wooden floor, the intervention focused on the two walls behind the basketball hoops and soccer goals. Here, the mural complements the materials and spatial qualities without overwhelming them, bringing dynamism and continuity to the language established in the basement.
This project holds deep personal meaning for me. Bet El is my children's school, and having the opportunity to contribute to its identity and transformation through my work is a great honor. I am profoundly grateful to the school board and the entire community for trusting my vision, welcoming me with complete creative freedom, and valuing art as a fundamental pillar in shaping educational spaces.
